CONNECTIONS...THE CATALYST FOR COLLABORATION

We believe in the value of exchanging ideas and insights face to face and are intentional about creating opportunities for our builders to interact with each other, our sponsors, and other leaders in the industry.

April 20, 2021 1/2 Day Event: Home as a Service

Periodically throughout 2021, we'll expand our 3rd Tuesday events to systematically dig deeper into topics that are critical to your business. Join us this April, June, September and November to tackle various issues with fellow thought leaders in the industry.

First up, our Home as a Service half-day event will take place online April 20th from noon to 3 pm Eastern / 9 am to noon Pacific.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY HOME AS A SERVICE + WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

The sharing economy, and the new financial models that come along with it, have turned the way that we look at products and services on its head. Take cars for example. We can not only buy or lease one, but also rent a car on the go, pick one out from a vending machine, have one delivered directly to our home, rent our own car out, schedule a ride with Joe Average, or even rent to earn by becoming a driver ourselves. A car can now be a product, a service, a shared expense, an income source, or any combination of the above.

By taking a cue from the car and ride share industries, food delivery, entertainment streaming, and other resources that have emerged for today's consumers, we can extend the home delivery relationship beyond an individual transaction. Home as a Service strategies create ongoing touchpoints, revenue opportunities, new value for consumers and providers alike, and expanded potential to create customers for life.

On April 20th, we'll dig deeply into one angle on Home as a Service — customer for life service platforms.

We'll look at home grown, value added services that builders and developers deliver themselves, such as ongoing maintenance and home monitoring. We'll also share examples of strategic partnerships that leverage products, services and technologies from third parties, where they act as the service provider and deliver added value and benefits to all, such as handyman, conceirge and home management offerings.

Join us for:

  • EXPERT SNAPSHOTS  |  noon to 1 pm Eastern / 9 am to 10 am Pacific
We'll kick things off by sharing one home grown and two strategic partnership approaches, followed by facilitated Q+A with attendees.

  • WORKING GROUPS  |  1:15 pm to 2 pm Eastern / 10:15 am to 11 am Pacific
We'll break into two groups (home grown vs. the visiting team), grab a couple of digital white boards and map out approaches to turning the idea of Home as a Service into reality.

  • MEET + GREET  |  2:15 pm to 3:00 pm Eastern / 11:15 am to noon Pacific
We'll wrap things up by connecting the players — allowing you to break the ice and foster relationships with potential partners and customers in a smaller group setting.

As the day goes on, you'll become more engaged and connected, with the rooms getting smaller and the discussions getting more personal. All attendees will walk away with a list of the partipants and their LinkedIn profiles (where applicable), an archive of the expert snapshots, and white board results from both rooms — a rough playbook for actions you could take to deliver Home as a Service in your own business.

Registration is FREE for all Alliance member and partner companies in good standing. Send as many of your people as you like!
