Digital Communications + Graphics Intern

If so, then you may be the newest member of the Alliance team! Your primary role will be to support marketing and communication functions, social media management and engagement, and the design and layout of communication tools for the Housing Innovation Alliance.

Implement the 2019 Communications Strategy by:
Packaging content, distributing across multiple platforms and monitoring web analytics
Applying brand standards to development of a variety of digital and print materials, including website visuals, social media, newsletters, eBlasts, video, direct mail, signage
Applying content within existing communications vehicles, including social media, our private community website, and public website
Supporting successful promotion and execution of live and web events
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, at a minimum
Proficiency with Microsoft Office in a PC environment and/or mac-PC compatibility
Proficiency in social media platforms and SEO
Attention to detail and excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and adhere to deadlines
Video editing and infographic design capabilities—not required, but definite pluses!
This paid internship requires a commitment of at least 15 hours per week and will run from the beginning of January until the end of April 2019, with possible continuation. Duration is negotiable and dependent upon performance and availability.
