Bob Kehlor is an Executive Partner at True Homes, a private builder headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University; and, after a 10 year career with IBM in sales & sales management, entered the home building industry in 1993. His core competencies are developing and implementing homebuilding operations platforms that apply lean manufacturing principles resulting in eliminating waste and creating measurable value for suppliers, labor trades and manufacturers. Bob’s expertise extends to optimizing Supply Chain strategies, negotiation, and developing strategic Trade Partner relationships.
Bob entered the homebuilding industry with the C.P. Morgan Company as a member of their executive leadership team who over a 12 year period grew the company from 230 closing to over 3,300 closings across three markets and became the largest homebuilding company in both Indianapolis, Indiana and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Bob has since served as an executive with Allen Edwin Homes in Kalamazoo, Michigan and with the RT Moore Company, plumbing and heating contractor headquartered in Indianapolis who serves the residential and multi-family markets across 18 states.
Currently, Bob has applied his expertise at True Homes over the past 5 years in leading the refinement of their internal operations platforms and Supply Chain strategy while helping lead the growth of True Homes to over 1,500 closings across 6 markets within the Carolina’s.
Bob currently resides in Fort Mill, SC with his wife Shari of 32 years and their 4 children: Brian, Yulia, Daria and Nicholas. Bob enjoys mountain biking, tennis and various water sports.
