Senior Research Fellow
Ophelia Yeung has more than 20 years of experience leading research and consulting assignments for business, government, universities and nonprofit organizations around the world. Her recent work has focused on the wellness industry. As senior research fellow at the Global Wellness Institute, Ophelia co-authored numerous studies covering topics from the global wellness economy to healthy built environments and wellness tourism. She has presented at major industry events, written for industry publications, and given global media interviews on these topics.
Previously, she was director of the Economics Program and co-director of the Center for Science, Technology & Economic Development at SRI International, where she led industry strategy and regional economic development projects in dozens of countries and regions. Ophelia received a B.A. in economics from Smith College and an M.P.A. from Princeton University.
