Our 2022 Program

5 minute read

These have been interesting times.

From March 2020 through the 2021 calendar year, the ways we engaged the Alliance network and the housing community at large shifted dramatically. We were one of the first housing industry organizations to bring our live events into an online forum—just six weeks before we were supposed to be in Nashville. Still want to go there!
We built a new web platform to share on-demand content, individual and company profiles, and other member-only resources with our network. We introduced some high value Working Groups to dig into issues and began developing additional tools and resources our members can use to drive innovation within their own businesses, including our Industrialized Construction Roadmap. And on the third Tuesday of each month, we’ve been connecting with smart people from cool companies to talk about important housing-related issues and trends.

We're continuing to change things up!

That rhythm will continue into 2022. 3rd Tuesdays will happen throughout the year – with breaks in July and December for family holidays. We’re shifting our Working Groups to focus on five key interest areas, aligning co-captains within the industry to help lead each program and connecting the WGs to existing tools and resources and new ones in production. Get an overview of Supply Chain, Home as a Service, Tech + Data, Talent and ESG. And take a look at our calendar in the round to get the big picture for 2022.

We’ll also reintroduce live events – in a smart way.

We understand that travel is a luxury. Your health and safety are important to you, your family and your company, and time is precious. At the same time, face-to-face connections are priceless. It was so uplifting to see people at Builder 100 and EEBA, and we want to create valuable opportunities for our network to connect.

To that end, we’ll be hosting small group events at least once a quarter. You can expect:

VALUE-ADDED PROGRAMMING AROUND KEY INDUSTRY EVENTS. This will include special opportunities to connect at IBS in the Show Village and during a hosted breakfast in Orlando in February, around IMN’s Build-to-Rent Land & Homebuilding Forum in Nashville in March, and in conjunction with EEBA’s High Performance Home Summit in Scottsdale in September.

A ROAD TRIP EACH QUARTER, WHERE WE VISIT A DIFFERENT MARKET  – gathering real world perspectives of innovation in the field. Join us for site visits, gather insights and make meaningful connections with a small group of experts from the Alliance network. Participation will be limited based our host venues and current recommendations of the CDC. Think bigger than a carpool and smaller than a ballroom.

When it makes sense, we’ll tie our Road Trips to industry conferences, Alliance 3rd Tuesday events and Working Group discussions – amping up the value of your participation. Be part of it live with more reasons to travel or get a taste of the action by participating remotely online.

We’re excited to welcome a new year and look forward to continuing to work with you to create a vision for the future of housing + help make it happen.
